Can the haze on a foggy window be cleaned off?

No. The haze sits between the panes, where no cloth reaches. Wiping either face changes nothing. Drilling and venting clears the moisture for a while but doesn’t restore the seal, the argon or the insulation value. Replacing the sealed unit does.

Does the new sealed unit match my existing low-E and argon?

Yes. The technician reads the stamp on the old spacer, which names the maker and usually the coating and fill, and orders the new unit to the same specification. Where the stamp is unreadable, the coating is identified with a low-E detector on site.
