Service Terms

Airdrie Window Repair quotes by photo, confirms the price on site, takes a deposit on ordered glass, warrants its work for five years, credits board-up fees against the permanent repair, and invoices insurers on request. Airdrie Window Repair operates the service under Alberta law. Last updated 7 September 2026.

Quotes

A photo quote is an estimate based on the photos and description you send. For glass and sealed units, the technician confirms the price on the measure visit, before anything is ordered. That confirmed price is the price you pay unless something not visible in the photos, such as a rotted frame, is found and you approve extra work. For hardware, screens and seal repairs, the quoted price is the price unless the part differs from what the photos showed, and we tell you before fitting it.
Quotes are valid for 30 days. Prices on this site are from-prices checked on the date shown on each table.

Deposits and payment

Sealed units and tempered glass are made to your window’s size and can’t be resold, so a deposit, shown on the quote, is due when the unit is ordered. The balance is due when the work is complete. Repairs done on the first visit are paid on completion. We accept e-transfer, cash, debit and all major credit cards. Approved commercial accounts may be invoiced on the terms agreed for the account.

Repair warranty

Workmanship is warranted for five years from the date of the repair. A new sealed unit carries its manufacturer’s warranty against seal failure for five years, registered to the address on the invoice. We handle the claim if it fogs. Replacement hardware carries the manufacturer’s warranty.
Three things sit outside the warranty: damage after the repair from hail, impact, break-ins, storms or misuse; problems in parts of the window we didn’t repair; and frame, sash or structural defects that existed before the repair and were noted on the quote. The warranty applies to the original customer at the original address.

Emergency board-up

A board-up fee per window, shown on the quote, applies at any hour, day or night. The fee is credited against the permanent glass when we install it within 30 days. Board-up materials remain ours until the permanent repair and are removed at that visit.

Cancellations and no-shows

A booked visit can be cancelled or moved with 24 hours’ notice at no charge. A visit cancelled with less notice, or where no one is home at the booked time, may be charged a call-out fee shown on the quote. Ordered sealed units and tempered glass are custom and non-refundable once the fabricator has cut them. The deposit covers that cost if the job is cancelled after ordering.

Insurance jobs

We provide dated photos, an itemised invoice with board-up and permanent glass on separate lines, and the glass specification, so you can claim. Ask about direct billing to an insurer when you book; most customers pay us and claim. Whether your policy covers the damage is between you and your insurer. We don’t give coverage advice.

Access, safety and site conditions

You agree to give the technician clear access to the window inside and out, to keep children and pets away from the work area, and to tell us about anything that affects safety, such as a window above a stairwell or a deck. Second-storey work over a sloped roof or without safe access may need staging, which is quoted before the visit. We take away old glass and packaging and leave the area swept.
